THIS EVENT HAS PAST
Whether you are already on the Lean journey or just starting, learning from those succeeding in their lean journey is the best way to fast track and deepen one’s understanding of lean.
BAPIN is excited to announce a Northern California lean learning opportunity in partnership with E&J Gallo Winery. The one-day interactive tour event will be held on October 8th, in the middle of what the wineries call “Crush Time”. This is the first time Gallo is opening their doors to tour their facilities for a lean and six sigma healthcare learning experience. BAPIN has secured 10 spots for our BAPIN members.
Shingo certified, Gallo Winery is the largest family-owned winery in the world today, with fifteen family members, spanning three generations of the Gallo family, actively working in the business. Established in 1933 and headquartered in Modesto, California, E. & J. Gallo Winery remains a privately-held and ever-growing company that employs more than 6,500 people worldwide. The Gallo team has utilized lean principles and six sigma strategies and tools to help keep them at the top of their market. This is one reason why they are the world’s largest winery and continue to be successful in a difficult industry!
As stated on Gallo’s website: “Like our customers, we place great value on big ideas. Innovation is at the heart of our values. As our industry evolves and changes, we continuously challenge the conventional ways of doing things to remain relevant. We embrace change, because we believe it creates opportunities. In an ever-changing world, our constant is that we continue to innovate, create and maximize new opportunities throughout our business.”
